The feature will pre-cool your fridge prior to you using it (we found that this was effective in the morning while we were getting the milk bottles ready for the kids) to ensure that the temperature is optimally and minimize the energy consumption.
The InstaView Door in Door also opens up a second compartment inside the fridge that is ideal for storage of drinks and food items. It has an LED light strip of 24cm to light up and keep everything well-organized. The compartment is accessible through the InstaView pane, or through the main fridge door. It was easier to load the balcony on top through the Door-in Door than the main refrigerator cabinet. However, that's an issue of minor importance.
